1991 - 8 July “Band booked for big switch-on” – best in the North West at four years old….

1991 - 29 August “On Parade with the Barracudas”  Helen Wall joins Barracudas at WOMAD in Morecambe

1991 - 21 September “Barracudas snap up prizes” four trophies from Kendal Torchlight Procession

1993 - 21 April “Bopping to the Bongos” open day at Forum 28

1995 - 1 May “Come on and join the band” open day at Forum 28

1996 - 2 July “All aboard new-look museum” launch of the Dock Museum

1997 - 18 May “Banging the drum for the Barracudas” open day at the Old Fire Station

1998 - 26 October “They’re dancing in the streets” opening the National Glass Museum in Sunderland

1999 - 10 May “Spirit of Rio fills old college”  open day and preparing for Fenice

1999 - 13 May  “Italian ideas add colour to carnival”  Julie and Salvatore Fiorini travel to Italy for inspiration and materials
